HKLongd Partner Portal: Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to the HKLongd Partner Portal. This service is a dedicated gateway designed to facilitate international orders for customers of our retail affiliates via our Partner Widget. By using the "International Shipping" button on a Retailer’s store and submitting a request through this portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of the Relationship (Proxy Purchase)

HKLongd acts as an independent Technical Service Partner and Proxy Purchasing Agent.

• Agency Agreement: When you submit an order, you authorize HKLongd to purchase the selected goods from the Retailer on your behalf.

• Independent Entity: HKLongd is a separate legal entity and is not a subsidiary, legal representative, or agent of the Retailer.

• The Transaction: Your request constitutes a service agreement with HKLongd to handle the transaction, localized payment, and international transit of goods.

3. Pricing and Fee Structure

Upon review of your request, HKLongd will provide a formal quote. By accepting the quote, you agree to the following cost breakdown:

1. Goods Cost: The actual price of the items as advertised by the Retailer.

2. Service & Transaction Fee: Our fee for the proxy purchase service, local handling, and payment processing.

3. Shipping Fee: The cost of international transit from our hub to your destination. Quotes are provided in HKD unless otherwise specified.

4. Partner Widget & Data Privacy

To ensure order accuracy, our Partner Widget captures specific cart information:

• Data Collected: Product titles, quantities, prices, brand names, and the retailer's shop name.

• Privacy Guard: We do not collect SKUs or any personal billing/credit card information from the retailer’s site. All personal data is provided by the customer manually and voluntarily on this portal.

• Security: Data is used solely for the generation of shipping quotes and verification of order contents.

5. Retailer Partnership Agreement (Mutual Commitment)

By installing and maintaining the HKLongd Partner Widget, the Retailer and HKLongd agree to the following:

The Retailer ([Store Name]) agrees:

• Code Verification: I have verified that the provided Liquid/JavaScript code is safe for my store environment.

• Proxy Recognition: I understand that HKLongd acts as a proxy shipping/purchase service for orders I do not currently service natively.

• Display Authorization: I authorize HKLongd to display my product information to international customers via the Partner Portal.

• Global Expansion: I acknowledge this widget provides international reach for my brand without requiring changes to my local fulfillment workflow.

HKLongd commits:

• Read-Only Access: We only access cart data when a customer actively clicks the widget button.

• Payment Security: We never store or intercept customer payment information from the Retailer’s site.

• Independent Purchase: We act as an independent proxy purchaser, paying the Retailer in full for all goods.

• Logistics Management: We handle all international logistics, export/import documentation, and customs.

6. Duties, Taxes, and Inspection

• Importer of Record: The Customer is responsible for ensuring items are legal for import. All import duties, VAT, and local taxes are the responsibility of the Customer.

• Inspection Rights: For security and compliance with international aviation laws, HKLongd reserves the right to open and inspect all packages arriving at our hub to ensure they match the order and contain no prohibited materials.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Product Quality: As a proxy purchaser, HKLongd is not liable for manufacturing defects, sizing errors, or product warranties. These must be addressed with the original Retailer.

• Service Limit: HKLongd’s total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the Service Fee paid for that specific transaction.
