Retailer Widget & Proxy Service Terms of Service

1. Introduction

HKLongd provides professional proxy purchasing and international delivery assistance. Customers can submit product links and item requirements through our quote request form, including links shared directly via the HKLongd Partner Widget installed on participating retailers’ websites.

The widget is labelled “HKLongd - Local Buy & Ship Agent”. Clicking the widget opens our quote request portal in a new browser tab and passes the address of the specific product page the customer is viewing.

Please note that clicking the widget does not place an order with the retailer, reserve stock, or process a payment. Customers must review their item specifications and complete their quote request separately.

These terms govern the customer-facing proxy shopping service and referral widget. Retailer onboarding and individual partnership agreements are handled separately through direct communication with HKLongd.

2. Nature of the Relationship (Proxy Purchase)

HKLongd acts as an independent Technical Service Partner and Proxy Purchasing Agent.

• Agency Agreement: When you submit a quote request and accept our service terms, you authorize HKLongd to purchase the selected goods from the Retailer on your behalf.

• Independent Entity: HKLongd operates as a separate legal entity and is not a subsidiary, official representative, or legal agent of the participating Retailer.

• The Transaction: Your request establishes a direct service agreement with HKLongd to manage the transaction, localized currency payment, and international transit of goods.

3. Pricing and Fee Structure

Upon reviewing your request, HKLongd will issue a formal service quote. By accepting the quote, you agree to the following transparent cost breakdown:

1. Goods Cost: The actual retail price of the items as advertised by the Retailer at the time of purchase.

2. Service & Transaction Fee: Our professional fee covering proxy purchasing, local handling, and payment processing.

3. Shipping Fee: The cost of international freight and onward transit from our local receiving hub to your final destination. All quotes are provided in HKD unless otherwise specified.

4. Partner Widget and Shared Information

The HKLongd Partner Widget assists customers in sharing a retailer’s product-page link when requesting purchasing and international delivery support.

• Page Link Capture: When clicked, the widget reads the current page URL and includes it within the source_url parameter used to open HKLongd’s quote form. This URL may include query parameters and page fragments.

• Item Requirements: Customers verify the shared product link and manually input their required quantities, sizes, colors, and other specifications into HKLongd’s form.

• Non-Intrusive Operation: The widget reads the active browser address strictly for redirection. It does not extract proprietary product catalog details, nor does it request or gain access to the retailer’s administration backend, customer accounts, order history, or payment systems.

• Placement Guidelines: The widget is strictly intended for public product catalog pages. It must not be deployed on secure zones such as customer account pages, carts, checkouts, or order-status pages where private information may appear in URL strings.

5. Retailer Referral and Local Purchasing Process

Participating retailers feature the HKLongd widget to offer overseas buyers a reliable pathway to purchasing and international delivery assistance.

• Referral: The customer clicks the widget on a public product page and follows the link to HKLongd’s quote request form.

• Quote Request: The customer confirms the product link and submits their item requirements. HKLongd evaluates item availability and regional fulfillment options.

• Local Purchase: If the customer accepts the quote and arrangements can be completed, HKLongd purchases the items from the retailer, shipping them to our designated domestic receiving address.

• Onward Delivery: HKLongd coordinates the international freight forwarding and manages all subsequent transit updates with the customer.

• Customer Enquiries: Customers should direct all inquiries regarding quotes, payment instructions, proxy purchases, or transit tracking to HKLongd. Product-specific questions or retailer returns/warranties may require direct coordination with the retailer.

All purchases remain strictly subject to stock availability, retailer acceptance policies, item suitability, and international carrier regulations. The presence of the widget does not guarantee that every item or destination can be serviced.

Retailer installation specifications and onboarding workflows are provided separately by HKLongd.

6. Duties, Taxes, and Inspection

• Importer of Record: The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that ordered items comply with local import laws. All destination import duties, VAT, GST, and local taxes remain the responsibility of the Customer.

• Inspection Rights: For cargo security and strict compliance with international aviation regulations, HKLongd reserves the right to open and inspect all packages arriving at our local hub to verify item accuracy and screen for prohibited materials.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Product Quality & Warranties: As an independent proxy purchaser, HKLongd is not liable for manufacturing defects, sizing discrepancies, or product warranties. These issues must be resolved directly with the original Retailer.

• Service Liability Cap: HKLongd’s total aggregate liability for any disputed claim is strictly limited to the value of the Service Fee paid for that specific transaction.
